It's a GIRL!

IT'S A GIRL!!! We are extremely delighted to finally share to all of you that we are having another princess! :)

It was quite fun keeping this for some time to just family and close friends and leave everyone guessing, though I have to admit I felt bad whenever I refuse to tell anyone who asks. To be honest, I had a feeling that it would be another girl, despite how different this pregnancy is with when I was pregnant with Chlo. Every single thing was different, and everyone in the family was guessing it would be a boy this time. Mommy Lizelle even swore by it because of the way my tummy looks. But nope, I really had that feeling. I just knew in my heart that it would be another girl and kept quiet about it and waited until my 20week ultrasound. And I was right. Hehe :)

We are now on the third trimester and just a few weeks away from meeting our new princess and we are so excited! Chlo is also thrilled about having a sister! She would come to me to kiss or caress my tummy randomly throughout the day, which is just the sweetest thing! And I love how every night, she would say goodnight to all of us including the new baby; "Good night Mama, Papa, and Baby C! I wuuuuv you!" :) And yes, it'll be another C. :)

Of course, we continue to pray to God for a healthy baby girl. :) And we couldn't thank Him  enough for giving our family another wonderful blessing! And we can't wait to meet her!

Here are the rest of the photos of Chloe for our baby girl's gender announcement. :)

Happy Easter!!!

Wednesday, April 8, 2015

It was a whooping 80 degrees that glorious day! So it was just right to enjoy, celebrate, and soak up the sun while it last! After hearing mass and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, we went out for brunch at my now favorite pancake place, Wildberry Cafe. I had a Venetian sizzling  skillet and an oreo s'more specialty pancake, and had a few bites from my husband's tiramisu pancake. :) We then headed straight home to have this little easter egg hunt for Chlo in our front yard. :)

I love how we now have a front yard (and a back yard for that matter). We're still new to the place and I still have no idea where are good places for an Easter Egg Hunt for Chloe's age. And having a decent-sized  front yard solves the problem! I remember last year in San Diego where we live in a small, gated apartment complex, and all we have for a front yard is a small rectangular mini garden. So we went to a mall for her egg hunt but she was still too little to hunt eggs along with kids who were a lot older than her. And so we ended up doing a mini egg hunt inside our apartment which was fun and pictures still turned out to be so cute! :)

Chlo had a blast gathering the eggs in the yard! I love how cute she looked in that yellow dress and her bunny ears headband! She was also saying the colors of the eggs she got before putting it in her "tweet tweet" basket. :) And then things got a little serious and she became a little competitive when she saw me stealing some of the eggs she already found and scattering them again in the ground! Haha! Anyway, here are the photos from that beautiful day :)
